According to customs data, in April 2026, China imported 0.52 thousand tons of soda ash, up 12.83% year-on-year and down 89.11% month-on-month. From January to April 2026, the cumulative imports of soda ash were approximately 95.5 thousand tons, a surge of 558.51% compared with the same period last year, representing an increase of about 81.0 thousand tons.
